Nutrition is a huge part of that and essential for good health and well-being
(beyond the numbers on a scale). With this pre-professional program, you’ll prepare
to become a registered dietitian, nutritionist or health educator who is able to
set others up for success in the areas of lifestyle modifications, food and nutrition.
Interested in becoming a registered dietitian? As a Human Nutrition and Foods student, you can opt into the accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics. The program provides an in-depth educational experience with practical applications and a strong community nutrition component. It also prepares you for entry into supervised practice programs in dietetics which lead to eligibility for the Commission on Dietetic Registration credentialing exam. For more information, visit the program's website.
